FlightDial
watchOS · free · version 1.0.1
Live aircraft on an Apple Watch dial, exactly where they are in the sky.
FlightDial draws real air traffic on an analog dial, over a terrain map, with every aircraft at its true bearing and distance from where you are standing. The dial turns with your compass, so a plane at 10 o'clock on the screen is at 10 o'clock in the sky. Look up and it is there.
It runs entirely on the watch. There is no iPhone app, no account, no backend and no analytics, and the App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected. It is free, with nothing held back.
- Turn the Digital Crown to zoom from 5 to 30 nautical miles
- Aircraft coloured by their airline and sized by altitude
- Nearby airports marked, so you can see where the traffic is heading
- A tap on the wrist when something is about to pass overhead
- A complication counting the aircraft near you
